Custom made embroidered patches for everyone!

It doesn’t matter whether you are a martial artist, a policeman, a security guard or a firefighter — if you want to look cool in your uniform, a great patch is one that will make all the difference. But who to pick? You want a patch maker that the professionals use — because professional organizations like the Girl Scouts and NASA know that if you’re going to trust a patch manufacturer, not only does it have to be done right the first time, but also how it can look great and look professional all at the same time. The High School Reunion Lanyard Caper

The Class of ’64 High School Reunion
The tale of the wayward ID neck lanyards for the 25th high school reunion is one that will remain in class memory. Each reunion member was given several items as they walked into the large catering room: a program with the evening’s highlights, a song sheet with the high school’s class song, a CD with the most popular songs of those 4 glorious high school years and a neck lanyard with a small graduation class photo on one side and on the opposite side of the ID, the classmate’s name and the text written next to their name from the yearbook which was usually a prediction for the future, a career intention or an amusing anecdote. Remembering Watching Movies with My Dad

The most advanced use of DVD technology comes in the form of science fiction movies. These DVDs are some of the most amazing available on the market. I, myself, have always enjoyed science fiction, ever since I was a little kid. My dad and I used to rent video cassettes and stay up until all hours of the night on the weekend and watch a variety of bad B-films and famously popular cult classics. Today, I’ve bought a number of these pictures in the form of DVDs.

Why You Should Use Silicone Wristbands As Promotional Tools

24 Hour WristbandsIf you are looking to promote a business, you may have utilized various tools to do so. You may have used t-shirts, pens, etc. However, there is only one problem with that. Everyone else is doing the same thing as you, and there is nothing in using these tools for promotion that distinguishes you from your competitors – or any other company for that matter. There have been many attempts at using other products, such as frisbees, coasters, and the like, but none of them really catch on, as they are fairly useless to a lot of people. On the contrary, there are other promotional tools that are relatively new which can prove very effective, while at the same time eye catching: using silicone wristbands as promotional tools. Robbery gone wrong in mall restroom - senior safe

Edmonton, AB – A 76-year old Winnipeg woman was attacked in a mall restroom yesterday afternoon. The incident happened when Margret Richards tried to use the restroom facilities, while her husband was shopping at an electronic store in the mall.

Mrs. Richards entered the public restroom alone on the main floor of the mall. It had been raining and she noticed the floor was filthy. She picked a stall, and not wanting to ruin her new purse, hung it on the hook on the stall door. About to start her business, Mrs. Richards noticed a hand coming over the door. It was about to grab her purse. Mrs. Richards was aware that it was not safe to hang items on public restroom door hooks and had kept her umbrella next to her. She hit the hand, which in a reflex, tried to pull back. Unfortunately for the thief, her wristband got caught on the hook. Mrs. Richards screamed for help as loud as she could, while beating on the thieving hand with her umbrella. It attracted the attention of several shoppers, who quickly alerted mall security.

Two guards apprehended the thief, who had a badly bruised hand. She was later identified as 17-year old Amanda L. The irony of the story is that Amanda’s pink wristband was imprinted with the word ‘faith.’ Lesson learned!

Amanda L. was charged with attempted theft and convicted to one month community service.

Thoughts: 14-05-09 The first time that Matt asked me out, we went to an AC/DC concert. I wasn’t really sure that I wanted to go out with Matt since he always seemed so reserved and quiet when he was around me. But, I did want to go see the rock band AC/DC, so I consented to the date.
I was ever so wrong about Matt. Right away he bought us some glow sticks and dragged me through the crowd and down towards the front of the stage where everybody was dancing and moving their glow sticks in time to the music. As it turns out, Matt is a wonderful dancer and boy, does he look good with those glow sticks in his hand.

Shopping for the Perfect Silicone Wristband

A couple of months ago, I was in the middle of planning my wedding to the greatest guy in the world when all of the sudden it hits me that neither of us had found gifts for our attendants. We had six groomsmen and six bridesmaids to buy gifts for, and we needed to find something personal and meaningful that we could have in our hands before our wedding date.

We started out by researching the traditional route, looking for something silver to have engraved or some typical, personalized gift that would be quick and easy to order, but still have some kind of meaningful aspect to it. In the middle of looking through numerous catalogs of traditional keepsakes that can be engraved for memorable gifts, my husband and I looked at each other and just started laughing. Traditional engraved silver is just not the thing for any of our friends. Read more »

Silicone Bracelet as a Gift Idea

“Fun, functional and unique, wristbands are a wonderful way of spreading your message.” (Moriss Madison, 2009)

When silicone bracelets rose to popularity a few years ago, there was no way of telling how much of a rage they’d become – but now it seems they’re here to stay. Silicone bracelets are fashionable, gender-neutral items you can never have too many of. They’re customizable and can be made to fit almost any outfit or occasion (even formal ones if you know what you’re doing).

And because silicone bracelets are cool to have for yourself (I love my silicone bracelets!), they’re cool to give as gifts, too. Here are just some ideas on how silicone bracelets can make a great gift:

Statement/Cause Bracelets – Create a bracelet that makes a statement or supports a cause. These types of bracelets abound (think pink cancer bracelets), but customize the bracelet to make it mean even more. Add a date of the name of a loved one, and give it to someone you care about.

Identity/Group Bracelet – This can be a friendship bracelet, a club bracelet, or any other type of limited, unique group bracelet. For a friendship bracelet, customize a one of a kind bracelet pair; give one of the bracelets to your best friend, and wear the other yourself. Or if you’re part of a unique group, customize a bracelet that symbolizes the group identity. It’s a great way to look back over the years and remember the friendship, bonds and activities that you shared with your peers.

Complimentary Gifts – Another way of using silicon bracelets is as a complimentary gift (or as part of a complimentary gift back). Just like people get pens or t-shirts at the end of events and seminars, silicone bracelets are a great item to hand out. Add an inspirational message and silicone bracelets will become an item participants wear and look back to from time to time.

One great website I’ve found for silicone bracelets is http://wristbandsthoughts.com/. The website allows you to customize bracelet size, color, text, font and even image. It also has also great deals for bulk orders, in case you ever want to go that route. Happy silicone braceleting!
